Celtics' Nikola Vucevic (finger) cleared to play in matchup against Raptors 1

Boston Celtics center Nikola Vucevic has been moved to questionable status for Sunday’s matchup against the Toronto Raptors, one month following his surgery for a fractured right ring finger.

Vucevic has participated in only 12 games for Boston since being traded from the Chicago Bulls. The 15-year NBA veteran is recording averages of 10.4 points and 7.2 rebounds in 21.7 minutes per game for the Celtics.

Additionally, the Celtics signed two-way wing Ron Harper Jr. to a new two-year contract on Saturday, as confirmed by his agent Drew Gross of WME Basketball to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Harper, the son of former NBA player Ron Harper, has been part of the Celtics’ rotation at various points this season while also excelling with their Maine G League affiliate team.
