Bulls’ Jaden Ivey and Jalen Smith sidelined for the remainder of the season due to injuries

CHICAGO — The Chicago Bulls announced on Thursday that guard Jaden Ivey and forward Jalen Smith will be out for the remainder of the season due to injuries.
Ivey, who was obtained on February 3 from Detroit as part of a three-team trade, has been out since February 11 with a sore left knee. This season, he has averaged 8.5 points over 37 games, including four with Chicago.
Smith, who is averaging 10.2 points and 6.7 rebounds in his second season with the Bulls, aggravated his right calf during Wednesday’s defeat against Philadelphia.
The Bulls currently sit 12th in the Eastern Conference with a record of 29-43. They are set to face Oklahoma City on Friday.
