Novak Djokovic pulls out of Miami Open due to shoulder issue.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the Miami Open due to a right shoulder injury, as announced by tournament officials on Sunday.
Djokovic is a six-time champion of the Miami event and has been a finalist on eight occasions. These achievements are tied with Andre Agassi for the all-time men’s singles records at the tournament.
Currently ranked No. 3 in the world, Djokovic was defeated by Jakub Menšík in the final of last year’s Miami tournament. He secured victories in the event in 2007, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2016, and also reached the final in 2009.
The men’s draw for the tournament is set to be released on Monday.
Djokovic, who has won 24 Grand Slam titles, competed last week at Indian Wells, where he advanced to the fourth round in singles and the second round in doubles. Earlier this year, he reached the final at the Australian Open, where he lost to Carlos Alcaraz.
