England winger Immanuel Feyi-Waboso is a significant doubt for the remainder of the Six Nations due to a hamstring injury sustained during training last week, sources informed ESPN.
The 23-year-old Feyi-Waboso incurred the injury during a training session on Thursday. He was initially included in the squad to compete against Wales but had to withdraw.
Tom Roebuck took his place and contributed to England’s convincing 48-7 win on Saturday.
More challenging challenges await England, with an upcoming match in Edinburgh against Scotland next Saturday for Steve Borthwick’s team.
England has achieved one victory in four encounters at Murrayfield against Scotland, and as they aim to improve that record, they will do so without Feyi-Waboso, the impressive winger from Exeter Chiefs.
Steve Borthwick indicated that the injury will sideline him for several weeks, raising concerns that he may not recover in time to participate in this year’s championship.
“Manny seems likely to be out for a number of weeks,” Borthwick remarked shortly after the match against Wales.
“I cannot specify how many weeks, but it is more than one, which is unfortunate. However, that is the reality of elite sports—injuries occur, and adjustments must be made.”

“Ollie Lawrence appeared to be in excellent form during training at the end of last week,” Borthwick noted.
Ellis Genge was substituted at half-time against Wales as England keeps an eye on him while he deals with a minor injury.
“He performed very well to be fit to start and play,” Borthwick stated.
“We believed it was best to play him for 40 minutes and then take him off, rather than have him restart the second half.”
“He came off without any issues. It was more of a precautionary measure than anything else.”
