England Six Nations roster: Three players without caps as Maro Itoje seeks to guide team to 2026 championship

Steve Borthwick has included three uncapped players in his 36-man England squad in preparation for the Six Nations.
Back-row player Greg Fisilau and props Vilikesa Sela and Emmanuel Iyogun have all been selected in a predominantly established squad that will gather next Tuesday before commencing their campaign at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham against Wales on Feb. 7.
Several players are currently dealing with injuries and will attend the team’s training camp in Girona next week for rehabilitation, including prop Fin Baxter, back-row Ben Curry, centre Ollie Lawrence, winger Tom Roebuck, and fly-half Fin Smith.

This situation means Borthwick may be missing some key players for their opening match, putting the squad’s depth, which the head coach has been focused on developing over the past 18 months, to the test.
Additionally, 33-year-old prop Trevor Davison has been brought back into the squad to address shortages in the front row, as Will Stuart and Asher Opoku-Fordjour have both been ruled out of the tournament due to injuries.
Fullback George Furbank returns to the squad after missing England’s 2025 season because of injury.
Max Ojomoh has been selected after making a strong impression in his two previous England appearances last year against the United States and Argentina.
