England 33-19 New Zealand: Ford inspires England to comeback win over All Blacks 2

George Ford inspired England to a 33-19 win over New Zealand at Twickenham as Steve Borthwick’s side showed their World Cup credentials.

Ford scored 13 points, with two vitally important drop goals coming just before half-time following Ollie Lawrence’s try, to reply to New Zealand’s two quickfire tries from Leicester Faingaanuku and Codie Taylor to reduce the deficit to 12-11 at the break.

England were sublime in the second half and scored tries through Sam Underhill, Fraser Dingwall and Tom Roebuck, with Will Jordan’s score proving to be nothing more than a consolation for the All Blacks as Twickenham were treated to a thriller and Borthwick’s men won their 10th game on the bounce.
