Lewis Hamilton would excel in bobsledding, claims new Jamaican contender, sparking Cool Runnings 2 speculation.

Jamaican sprinter-turned-bobsledder Tyquendo Tracey has stated that Lewis Hamilton would excel if he transitioned from Formula 1 circuits to the ice of the Winter Olympics.
Tracey is participating in the Milan-Cortina Games with the Jamaican four-man bobsleigh team, having previously represented his nation as a sprinter at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo five years prior.
He aims to emulate the team that gained recognition at the 1988 Winter Olympics, which inspired the 1993 Disney film “Cool Runnings”—a movie that Hamilton has identified as his favorite.
While seven-time F1 champion Hamilton, 41, is currently concentrating on racing for Ferrari instead of navigating an icy track, Tracey believes that Hamilton’s abilities would be well-suited for bobsleigh.
“I think he [Hamilton] would perform well,” F1 enthusiast Tracey told Reuters Television. “When you observe individuals like Lewis Hamilton navigating curves at speeds of 200-250 miles per hour, he possesses the vision necessary to maneuver a sled … so, in my opinion, he would do exceptionally well.”

Hamilton, whose paternal grandparents hail from the Caribbean island of Grenada, has frequently discussed how “Cool Runnings” impacted him during his upbringing and motivated him to enter a sport that is predominantly white.
He recently reaffirmed his interest in bobsleigh in a video featuring the Ferrari team.
“If I were to participate in a Winter Olympic sport, it would be bobsledding,” he remarked. “I have always wanted to try bobsledding.”
“There isn’t a Grenadian team, so perhaps I would recruit my best friend Jan and then gather a few other individuals from Grenada to form a bobsleigh team.”
