Formula 1 champion Lando Norris receives a wax figure at Madame Tussauds

A wax figure of Formula 1’s current world champion, Lando Norris, will be showcased at London’s Madame Tussauds this summer.
The McLaren racer met with waxwork artists earlier this year to ensure his likeness was accurately represented, with a press release from Madame Tussauds stating that their team has been “capturing every precise detail — from colour checks to measurements — of the star from helmet-to-toe.”
The McLaren driver, who has been a well-liked personality in F1, experienced a surge in popularity after clinching his first world championship at the conclusion of last year in a tightly contested rivalry with Max Verstappen and McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.
“It’s quite surreal to think I’ll have a figure in Madame Tussauds; it’s such a significant honor,” Norris remarked.
“Collaborating with the artists has been amazing, and witnessing all the detail they’ve incorporated into the figure is truly remarkable. I look forward to fans coming to see the completed figure in London this summer.”
The wax figure will be displayed alongside other existing figures at the London attraction, which features Lewis Hamilton, Cristiano Ronaldo, Mohamed Salah, Mary Earps, Anthony Joshua, and Kylian Mbappé, as well as members of the Royal Family.

“Lando Norris is undeniably at the forefront of contemporary sport and culture — ambitious, fearless, and immensely popular with fans globally,” stated Madame Tussauds general manager Steve Blackburn.
“From the outset of our collaboration with Lando, it was evident we were crafting something truly special, and our team has been working diligently to ensure an accurate likeness.
“He’s been exceptional throughout the process, patiently remaining still and not racing around as he typically does! We are busy making sure his figure is podium-ready and are incredibly eager to welcome guests to meet Lando’s likeness in the upcoming months.”
