The Cadillac Formula 1 team has unveiled its 2026 race livery during a commercial break at the Super Bowl on Sunday.

To enhance visibility in the U.S., the newly formed team chose to reveal the design of its car during the country’s premier annual sporting event, marking the official launch of its inaugural season in F1.

Cadillac is entering the competition as the 11th team, representing an increase in the grid size coinciding with the introduction of new technical regulations.

Veteran drivers Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas will compete for Cadillac in 2026 as the team aims to acclimate during its first season.

The GM-supported team commenced testing its vehicle last month, utilizing a temporary livery that prominently displayed a large Cadillac logo along with the names of the staff who have played a role in its entry into the grid.

The new livery revealed at the Super Bowl is anticipated to appear on the car during the upcoming preseason tests in Bahrain and throughout the remainder of the year.

Cadillac’s inaugural F1 car is being designed and constructed in Silverstone, UK, but the team intends to relocate significant portions of its operations to Fishers, Indiana in the coming years.

For its initial three seasons in F1, Cadillac’s vehicles will utilize Ferrari engines, although GM and the team’s parent organization, TWG, have pledged to develop its own power units in the U.S.A. starting in 2029.

The opening race of the 2026 season is scheduled to commence on March 8 in Melbourne, Australia.
