U.S. National Sled Hockey Team Set For 2024 Para Hockey Cup
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team will compete in the 2024 Para Hockey Cup, from Dec. 8-14 at Bell Aliant Centre in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Team USA will open preliminary round play Sunday (Dec. 8) against China. Puck drop is set for 12 p.m. local time (11 a.m. ET).
All preliminary round contests, as well as the semifinals, will stream live here. The championship and third-place games will be broadcast live on TSN.
The four-team event also includes Canada and Czechia. The teams will face each other in the preliminary round with the semifinal round set for Dec. 13 and championship and third-place games on Dec. 14.
“We are excited for the opportunity to compete for the Para Hockey Cup,” said David Hoff (Bottineau, N.D.), who is in his seventh season as head coach of the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team. “We’re looking to continue to grow as a team and build off the momentum of the IPH Cup earlier this year.”

NOTES: The U.S. enters the tournament with a 4-1-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record on the season after winning the 2024 IPH Cup in Ostrava, Czechia, in October … Team USA has won eight-consecutive Para Hockey Cups, and a record 10 tournament titles all-time. At the 2023 Para Hockey Cup in Quispamsis, N.B., the U.S. went 5-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) to capture the championship.
