GAME DAY | Team USA Set to Face Off Against China in Para Hockey Cup Semifinals
DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The U.S. National Sled Team will face off against China here today (Dec. 5) at the Ovintiv Events Centre in the semifinals of the 2025 Para Hockey Cup.
Puck drop is set for 11 a.m. local time/1 p.m. ET. The game will stream live here.
The U.S. enters this contest as the top seed in the tournament through three preliminary-round games, holding an unbeaten 3-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record.
Most recently, the U.S. earned a 3-2 victory over Canada, Wednesday (Dec. 3), in its third and final preliminary-round matchup. Jen Lee (Daly City, Calif.), who made a diving stop in the final minute to help Team USA hold on to the lead and earn the win, was named U.S. Player of the Game after a 14-save performance.
China enters the game with an 0-0-0-3 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record through three preliminary-round contests.
The U.S. skated to a 6-3 victory over China, Tuesday (Dec. 2), in a preliminary-round contest. Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) tallied five points (2g, 3a) in the win. In nine matchups all-time, Team USA holds a 9-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record against China across all competitions.
Farmer currently leads all skaters in the tournament in goals (6), assists (5), and points (11).
