GAME DAY | Team USA Faces China in Sled Worlds Semifinal Matchup
BUFFALO, N.Y. – The U.S. National Sled Hockey Team will take on China here today in the semifinals of the 2025 World Para Ice Hockey Championship at LECOM Harborcenter. Puck drop is slated for 5 p.m. ET and the game can be viewed live on USAHockeyTV.com and Peacock. Fans can purchase tickets here.

The U.S. enters the contest after going 3-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) in preliminary-round play to earn the top spot in Group B. China went 2-0-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L) in the preliminary round, finishing second in Group A.
These two teams have faced off twice this season, with Team USA going 2-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) against China at the Para Hockey Cup in Charlottetown, P.E.I., in December.
All-time, the U.S. is 6-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) against Chian across all competitions, including a 10-0 win over China in the preliminary round of the 2024 World Para Ice Hockey Championship.
Team USA has played in 11 Sled Worlds semifinals and won 10 times, including victories in its last nine appearances to advance to the gold-medal game, a streak that dates back to the 2009 World Para Ice Hockey Championship in Ostrava, Czechia.
