COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey has revealed the athletes selected for the USA Hockey Women’s National Festival and the Girls Under-18 Women’s National Festival, both scheduled for August 2-9, in Lake Placid, N.Y.
The list of invitees comprises 46 collegiate players, along with 46 athletes under the age of 18.

The 25-player lineups for the U.S. Under-18 Women’s Select Team and U.S. Collegiate Women’s Select Team will be announced at the end of the camp. Both teams are set to compete against Canada in a three-game series from August 12-15 in Richmond, B.C. The full schedule for the series is provided below.

SELECT TEAMS COACHING STAFF ANNOUNCED
John Wroblewski (Neenah, Wis.) will take on the role of head coach for the U.S. Collegiate Women’s Select Team, with Kim Weiss (Potomac, Md.), Melissa Piacentini (Weymouth, Mass.) and Shelly Picard (Taunton, Mass.) serving as assistant coaches. Alli Altmann (Eagan, Minn.) will fulfill the position of goaltending coach, while Sean Andrak (Glen Rock, N.J.) will act as the video coach.
Courtney Kennedy (Woburn, Mass.) will lead the U.S. Under-18 Women’s Select Team as head coach, with Greg ‘Boom’ May (Burnsville, Minn.), Chris Bailey (Skaneateles, N.Y.) and Makenna Newkirk (Scottsdale, Ariz.) as assistant coaches. Mackenzie Bruch (Powder Springs, Ga.) will serve as the goaltending coach, while Bryce Aldrich (Berwick, Maine) will be the video coach.

NOTES: Lindzi Avar, Annelies Bergmann, Julia Pellerin and Sammy Taber were invited to this year's national festival in the collegiate player pool but were unable to participate. Callie McCullough, Catherine McCool and Kathryn Spyhalski were invited to this year's national festival in the under-18 player pool and were also unable to attend.
