2026 National Goaltending and Women's Defensive Development Camp Participants and Personnel Announced 1

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A total of 26 American goaltenders and 12 women’s defenders from across the nation have received invitations to the 2026 USA Hockey National Goaltending and Women’s Defense Development Camp, as announced by USA Hockey today.

The camp, scheduled for May 18-21 at the NSC Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota, will feature both on-ice and off-ice skill enhancement, along with video analysis, team-building exercises, and mental performance activities. Participants will have the chance to learn from the camp’s seasoned staff while developing their skills alongside fellow attendees.

Participants are aged between 16 and 22 years and represent 13 different states and 32 teams.

The goaltending segment of the camp will be directed by David Lassonde, USA Hockey’s national goaltending coach, Steve Thompson, USA Hockey’s manager of goaltending development, and Alli Altmann, goaltending coach for the U.S. Women’s National Team. The defense portion will be overseen by Courtney Kennedy, head coach of the U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team. Additional coaching staff will include professionals from the NHL, NCAA, and USHL.
