Tyler Adams of USMNT returns from quadriceps injury for Bournemouth-Arsenal match.

AFC Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams is poised to make his comeback from a quadriceps injury for the Cherries’ match against Premier League leaders Arsenal on Saturday.
The 27-year-old star of the United States men’s national team has been sidelined for Bournemouth’s previous two matches, in addition to missing two U.S. friendlies during the international break, as he aims to regain fitness for Mauricio Pochettino’s squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
“I am feeling strong and ready to go,” stated Adams, who captained the U.S. at the 2022 World Cup, in an interview with club media.
Remaining in Bournemouth for rehabilitation “provided me with time to become stronger, improve my fitness, and concentrate on the goals with the team here.”
“I’m feeling consistent, I’m feeling strong now, and I believe it’s crucial to finish the season on a high note,” remarked Adams, who has also dealt with an MCL tear earlier this season.
Bournemouth heads to north London with an 11-match unbeaten streak in the Premier League. The Cherries’ last league defeat was against Arsenal, losing 3-2 at home on January 3.
The team currently occupies the 13th position in the standings with seven matches remaining in the season.
Pochettino’s squad will commence its World Cup journey against Paraguay on June 12 in Inglewood, California.
