While Bergvall is undoubtedly a promising talent, Arne Slot’s squad already includes Florian Wirtz and Dominik Szoboszlai, who are capable of filling that advanced midfield role, making a move for the Spurs player less logical.
Instead, it is probable that Liverpool will seek to acquire someone who can provide additional grit and physicality to the midfield. Thuram was linked with Liverpool in the summer of 2023, and both he and Allan fit the age profile the club typically targets. This is certainly a situation to monitor.
