Thousands of Tottenham supporters gathered on the streets to greet the team bus along the High Road prior to Sunday’s crucial match at home against relegation contenders Nottingham Forest.

A campaign launched this week by various Spurs fan groups, named ‘Show Up, Sing Up, Stay Up,’ urged the fanbase to unite and demonstrate their support for the players ahead of an important game in the fight to remain in the Premier League.

Supporters were encouraged to assemble outside The Bricklayers pub, located near Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, at 11:30 am, and an estimated 10,000 fans lined the High Road by the time the team bus arrived to a tremendous reception.

Numerous pyrotechnics were set off along the High Road, creating a lively atmosphere reminiscent of Everton fans outside Goodison Park during recent relegation struggles.

A group of fans chanted the name of former manager Mauricio Pochettino, while the team bus was greeted with chants of ‘Come on you Spurs’ as white and blue smoke enveloped the area around N17.
