MONTREAL — CF Montréal dismissed coach Marco Donadel on Sunday following a sluggish beginning to the MLS season.

Montreal’s record dropped to 1-6-1 after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Philadelphia in their home opener on Saturday.

The organization also announced the termination of assistants Jacopo Falanga and Lorenzo Pinzauti, with Philippe Eullaffroy appointed as interim coach.

No players or coaches were available to speak with reporters following the defeat.

Donadel took over from Laurent Courtois on March 24, 2025, and during his time, Montreal recorded a 7-20-9 performance.

He was the club’s 11th head coach since its entry into the MLS in 2012.
