
Liverpool has confirmed that Mohamed Salah will depart the club at the conclusion of the season, as announced on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old joined Anfield from Roma in 2017 and has since made 435 appearances for Liverpool, netting 255 goals.
“Mohamed Salah is set to conclude his distinguished career with Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2025-26 season,” Liverpool stated in a release.
“The forward has come to an agreement with the Reds that will mark the end of an extraordinary nine-year tenure at Anfield.
“Salah conveyed his desire to share this news with the supporters as soon as possible to ensure transparency regarding his future, reflecting his respect and appreciation for them.”
