Leny Yoro: Manchester United teammates preferred Casemiro’s continuation with the club.

Leny Yoro has stated that the Manchester United players were eager for Casemiro to remain at Old Trafford prior to the midfielder’s announcement regarding his plans to depart at the conclusion of the season.
Fans of United chanted “one more year” at the Brazilian following his goal in the 3-1 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday.
According to sources, ESPN reports that a change of mind is improbable, but Yoro has disclosed that the squad wished for the club to retain the 34-year-old.
“Everyone wanted him to stay; he is a player [who is] truly significant for us,” Yoro remarked.
“Even in the locker room, every day, he brings an experience that no one else possesses in the team.
“He has won everything, which has greatly aided us both in matches and off the field.”
United still holds the option to activate a one-year extension in Casemiro’s contract, although it was mutually agreed with the club in January that he would depart in the summer.
Despite being a crucial element of the resurgence under Michael Carrick, the United head coach suggested that the decision is unlikely to be altered.

“I believe that when something is determined, in some respects, the fact that it has been decided makes things somewhat simpler, and everyone comprehends the situation clearly,” Carrick stated.
“I think the influence he has had has been outstanding, especially since I have been here and working alongside him, as well as his impact within the team during crucial moments and goals.”
