Fleetwood Town to host Arsenal in historic EFL Cup fourth-round clash

League Two side Fleetwood Town will host Premier League champions Arsenal in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
The Lancashire club reached this stage for the first time in their history with a 1-0 victory over Sheffield United on Wednesday night.
As a reward, they have been drawn against Mikel Arteta’s men in a home tie, following Arsenal’s 4-2 win over Ipswich Town on Tuesday.
Holders Manchester City will welcome Brighton to the Etihad Stadium if they defeat Norwich in Thursday’s remaining tie, while Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso will face his former side Liverpool after the Premier League rivals were drawn together.
League One sides Bradford and Peterborough will compete for a place in the quarter-finals after defeating Leyton Orient and Barnsley respectively in the third round.
The remaining fixtures are all between Premier League clubs, with Fulham hosting Crystal Palace, Bournemouth at home to Aston Villa, Brentford travelling to Sunderland, and Everton welcoming Newcastle United.
The fourth round is scheduled to take place during the week commencing 26 October.
