Igor Tudor learned of his father’s passing following the loss to Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur has expressed its condolences to Igor Tudor and his family following the confirmation of the head coach’s father’s passing.
Tudor was unable to attend his media obligations after Spurs’ significant 3-0 home loss to relegation competitors Nottingham Forest due to a bereavement in his immediate family.
This led to Tottenham assistant Bruno Saltor stepping in, and the Spaniard chose not to disclose any specifics regarding Tudor’s “family issue.”
On Monday, both Tottenham and Tudor’s previous club Juventus announced that the 47-year-old was mourning the loss of his father.
“Everyone at Tottenham Hotspur is profoundly saddened to learn of the passing of Igor Tudor’s father, Mario. Our thoughts and condolences are with Igor and his family during this extremely challenging time,” Spurs stated.
“Juventus stands in solidarity with Igor Tudor and his family during this difficult period. Juventus joins in mourning the loss of his father,” read a statement from Juventus.
The Press Association reports that Tudor received the news about his father after the match concluded on Sunday.
Saltor remarked at that moment: “It’s a personal family matter and clearly a challenging time for him. I’m just trying to provide support in the best way we can.”
