Harry Maguire ruled out of Chelsea vs. Manchester United following upheld FA charge

Harry Maguire is expected to miss Manchester United’s match against Chelsea on Saturday following the confirmation of his Football Association charge for improper conduct.
Maguire was suspended during the 2-1 loss to Leeds United on Monday after receiving a red card in the match against Bournemouth on March 20.
He was later charged by the FA concerning his actions as he exited the pitch at the Vitality Stadium.
The 33-year-old accepted the charge and has received an additional one-match suspension, along with a Β£30,000 penalty.
This situation means that United will be without both Maguire and Lisandro MartΓnez for the game against Chelsea, as the Argentinian defender also received a red card in the match against Leeds.
MartΓnez was sent off for allegedly pulling the hair of Leeds striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, a decision that United head coach Michael Carrick described as “shocking.”
Sources have informed ESPN that United has appealed MartΓnez’s suspension, although there is limited optimism within the club regarding the likelihood of a successful outcome.
With both Maguire and MartΓnez unavailable, Carrick is likely to rely on a youthful defensive pairing of Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven at Stamford Bridge.
