Harry Maguire has officially signed a new contract with Manchester United, as confirmed by the club.
The England international was set to become a free agent at the conclusion of the season, but has reached an agreement to prolong his tenure at Old Trafford.
Maguire has inked an initial one-year contract lasting until June 2027, with the possibility of an additional year.
Maguire stated: “Representing Manchester United is the ultimate honour. It is a responsibility that makes myself and my family proud every single day.
“I am thrilled to extend my journey at this remarkable club to at least eight seasons and continue to play in front of our dedicated supporters to create more unforgettable moments together.
“You can sense the ambition and potential of this exciting squad. The determination throughout the entire club to compete for major trophies is evident to all, and I am confident that our finest moments together lie ahead.”

“Harry, like everyone at the club, is wholly committed to assisting Manchester United in achieving consistent and sustained success.”
The 33-year-old joined from Leicester City in a deal worth Β£80 million ($106m) in 2019. He has made 266 appearances for the club, netting 17 goals.
He has been instrumental in United’s resurgence under Michael Carrick, with his performances since January earning him a recall to the England squad ahead of the March internationals against Uruguay and Japan.
