American forward Jordynn Dudley, a two-time NCAA champion with Florida State University, has officially joined Gotham FC, as confirmed by a source familiar with the agreement to ESPN.
Dudley has committed to the 2025 NWSL and Concacaf champions until 2028 and is currently with the team in London as they prepare for the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.
Throughout her college career, Dudley was recognized as an All-American for all three years, making her the first player from FSU to achieve this distinction three times.
The 21-year-old declared earlier this month her decision to turn professional, opting to forgo her final year of college eligibility.
She is considered one of the premier college prospects in this year’s class of players entering the professional ranks.
The NWSL eliminated its draft system with the approval of a new collective bargaining agreement in 2024, enabling college players to select their teams.
During her time at FSU, Dudley netted 34 goals over three seasons. In 2025, she was a finalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy, awarded to the best player in college soccer.
Dudley has also excelled as a youth international for the United States.
She contributed to the USWNT’s bronze medal victory at the U-20 World Cup in 2024.
Last year, she participated in the USWNT “Futures Camp,” where senior team head coach Emma Hayes assessed talent for future selections.
Gotham secured the 2025 NWSL Championship in November, marking its second league title in three years.
Additionally, Gotham is the inaugural champion of Concacaf’s regional championship, which qualified the team for FIFA’s first Women’s Club World Cup in 2028.
Gotham is set to compete in the semifinals of the second edition of the Concacaf event in May.
On Wednesday, Gotham will take on South American champions Corinthians in the semifinals of FIFA’s Champions Cup.
The victor will move on to face either Arsenal or Morocco’s ASFAR in the final.
