The 21-year-old Como defender Jacobo Ramon has received his inaugural senior Spain national team selection for the upcoming Nations League matches against Czechia and England in November.

Official announcement confirms Ramon’s inclusion in the Spain national team roster.

Ramon stands as the sole Serie A player in Luis De La Fuente’s latest Spain national team squad ahead of the Nations League clashes against Czechia on Thursday, November 12, and England on Sunday, November 15.

The Real Madrid academy graduate secures his first national team call-up following a strong start to the 2026-27 campaign with Como, featuring in nearly every minute across the first 14 competitive fixtures of the season. He has been substituted before the 90th minute on only two occasions to date.

He has also demonstrated effectiveness from set-pieces, recording three goals and two assists after 14 appearances at club level in 2026-27. He scored his first Champions League goal in a 4-1 triumph over Manchester United earlier this month and was also part of the squad that secured a historic 9-1 victory over Lens earlier this week.

It represents a one-in, one-out scenario for Serie A players in the Spain national team squad: Ramon is called up, while Inter goalkeeper Josep Martinez drops out after receiving his first call-up last month.
