Chelsea agrees to £10.75 million penalty and suspended transfer ban for rule violations.

Chelsea has agreed to a penalty of £10.75 million ($14m) and a suspended transfer ban for first-team players after proactively disclosing possible historical violations of regulations, as stated by the Premier League.
The London-based club has also been subjected to an immediate nine-month ban on academy transfers.
These penalties are connected to information provided to the league by a consortium that includes American entrepreneur Todd Boehly, following the consortium’s acquisition of the club from Russian tycoon Roman Abramovich in 2022.
