Casemiro: Manchester United choice is ‘finalized and settled’ regardless of performance

Casemiro has ruled out the possibility of changing his mind about departing Manchester United at the conclusion of the season.
The midfielder has experienced a resurgence under Michael Carrick, netting two goals in his last three Premier League fixtures.
In January, United confirmed that Casemiro would exit the club upon the expiration of his contract after four seasons at Old Trafford and over 150 appearances.
After participating in Brazil’s 2-1 loss to France, the 34-year-old remarked in comments reported by The Athletic: “I am still enjoying it a lot [in Manchester].
“The affection that the fans have shown towards me is immense. However, I truly believe the decision is made and finalized. I anticipate some challenging moments in these [final] matches at Manchester United.”

Casemiro, who previously spent ten years at Real Madrid, expressed high regard for Carrick and the influence the former midfielder has had since taking over from Ruben Amorim on an interim basis.
“Above all, Michael is a specialist in my position on the field; he was a truly exceptional player,” he stated.
“That simplifies everything, and he is consistently communicating with us. I feel that we are in a positive dynamic right now in Manchester, and my goal now is to help the club return to the Champions League.”
United have secured victories in seven of their last ten matches, rising to third place in the Premier League standings, and will compete against Leeds United in their upcoming match on April 13.
