Following their 1-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano this past weekend, Barça currently leads the league with 73 points from 29 matches, while their rivals Madrid trail by seven points ahead of Sunday’s derby against Atlético Madrid.
In their previous LaLiga clash earlier this season, Madrid secured a 2-1 victory at the Bernabéu in October, putting them five points ahead of Barça at that time.
