Women’s junior flyweight boxer Isis Sio hospitalized in coma following knockout.

Women’s junior flyweight boxer Isis Sio was knocked out in the first round on Saturday night in San Bernardino and has been placed in a medically induced coma following serious injuries.
Sio, 19, was competing against Jocelyn Camarillo in the initial match of ProBoxTV’s event at the Orange Show Events Center when she lost consciousness after sustaining multiple head shots. Medical personnel attended to her immediately after the conclusion of the fight, and she was observed convulsing as she was taken out of the arena on a stretcher. Sio was transported to Loma Linda University Health medical center for additional care.
“On behalf of CEO Garry Jonas and the entire ProBox family, we are praying for a swift recovery for Isis Sio,” ProBoxTV shared on their social media account Sunday afternoon. “Ms. Sio is currently in a medically induced coma. Our thoughts are with her and her family during this challenging time.”
Sio, hailing from South Dakota, experienced her second consecutive knockout defeat. She was previously stopped by body punches in January and was matched against the unbeaten Camarillo (6-0), who had not recorded a knockout but ended the fight against Sio just over a minute in. Sio turned professional in September 2025 and has a record of 1-3 in her short career.
