Pacquiao set to return to the ring for an exhibition match against Provodnikov in April.

LAS VEGAS — Manny Pacquiao is not finished with boxing and will make his return to the ring on April 18 to compete against former junior welterweight world champion Ruslan Provodnikov in a 10-round welterweight exhibition.
Pacquiao, 47, last competed on July 19 against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, where he lost by majority draw. Two judges scored the match as a draw, while Max DeLuca awarded Barrios a 115-113 decision.
This defeat brought Pacquiao’s record to 62-9-2.
“Returning to Las Vegas means so much to me, and I’m excited to work with a team focused on creating a world-class experience for the fans,” Pacquiao stated. “I’m coming back to give them a great fight – and I’m ready.”
The event will take place at the Thomas & Mack Center, which hosted several significant fights in the 1990s prior to the establishment of MGM Grand Garden Arena and subsequently T-Mobile Arena, which became the main venues for Las Vegas’ premier matches.
