Follow live: Tim Tszyu and Denis Nurja face off on Easter Sunday with a potential match against Errol Spence Jr. on the horizon.

WOLLONGONG, Australia — Tim Tszyu’s return to the ring continues on Easter Sunday as he faces unbeaten Albanian Denis Nurja at the WIN Entertainment Centre.
A win for the 31-year-old Australian is expected to pave the way for a significant matchup later this year against former unified welterweight champion Errol Spence, who is rumored to be concluding a three-year boxing break in 2026. However, this chance could be taken away from Tszyu if the former WBO junior middleweight champion experiences a fourth loss in six bouts.
Tszyu (26-3, 18 KOs) last fought in December, where he achieved a commanding unanimous decision victory over Anthony Velazquez in Sydney. In contrast, Nurja (20-0, 9 KOs) has been quite active in Europe, securing eight wins in eight fights over the last two years, including a knockout of Venezuela’s Jose Gregorio Marcano in Tirana just six weeks prior.
“I feel better than ever and I’m ready to get back to work,” Tszyu stated. “There are some significant opportunities on the horizon, but none of that matters unless I get through this fight. My complete focus is on Easter Sunday and the task ahead of me. I aim to return to the top of the division and contend for world titles again, and this is the initial step.
“I feel like I did fall apart. I am putting the wheels back in motion and I’m coming and I’m gunning straight back to that No. 1 spot. Whoever is in the way of that, they’re in danger.”
Also featured on the blockbuster card this Easter Sunday are former NRL players Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Jarrod Wallace, who will meet for a second time. Sam Goodman will also compete, taking on the formidable Mexican Rodrigo Ruiz in an IBF super bantamweight world title eliminator.
