76ers — Tests show no structural damage in Paul George’s knee
Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George will miss at least the next two games after an MRI showed no structural damage in his left knee, the team said.
He’ll be re-evaluated Monday.
George hyperextended the knee early in the second half of Wednesday night’s 117-111 road loss to the Memphis Grizzlies and did not return. He ended up with just two points on 1-of-6 shooting with four rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes.
It was the same knee that George hyperextended in the preseason, forcing him to miss the first five games of the regular season.
He’ll now miss Friday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets and Sunday’s matchup against the LA Clippers.
