Second seed Iga Swiatek will be making her 20th consecutive third-round appearance at a Grand Slam after defeating Rebecca Sramkova 6-0, 6-2 on Thursday at the .

Swiatek needed just 27 minutes to wrap up the first set, and just over an hour to finish off the match.

She has now won 27 bagel sets in her major career since making her main draw debut in 2019 — easily the most by any woman in that span (next closest is Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka with nine).

Swiatek has not lost before the third round of a Slam since the 2019 US Open.

She awaits the winner of vs. Amanda Anisimova, who were playing at nearby Kia Arena.

In other women’s singles results from Thursday, No. 9 defeated Wang Yafan 6-2, 6-0, and 32-seed Dayana Yastremska eased past Danka Kovinic 6-0, 6-1. Three-time Slam finalist Ons Jabeur moved into the third round with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Camila Osorio.
