Another exciting season of is almost upon us, but any motorsport fans running out of patience can satisfy their need for speed with F1 24 in the meantime. On top of being available as a standalone purchase, the game is joining the Xbox Game Pass library on Feb. 20, so anyone with an active subscription can jump into the cockpit without any extra cost.

F1 24 will be available via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Though not known as a series that simulates racing down to every last detail, F1 24 has all the official licensing needed to make for an authentic experience. Players can race with friends, try their luck in timed challenges against real drivers such as EA Sports ambassador and F1 world champion , or dive into the exciting career mode, where they can focus on their own destiny or take over an entire team and charge to the top of the constructors’ standings.

Xbox Game Pass also added Madden NFL 25 to its line-up recently and fans playing through the subscription service can claim the EA Play Supercharge Pack in the game for some extra Ultimate Team items. That’s a useful boost for newcomers, considering the current iteration is already deep into its lifecycle.

February 2025’s second wave of Game Pass additions is a bountiful one in general: Before the month is out, subscribers will have gained access to Obsidian’s highly-anticipated RPG Avowed, the acclaimed CRPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Ubisoft’s open-world title Watch Dogs: Legion, and the brand-new Immortal Pillars expansion for Age of Mythology: Retold.

As usual, Microsoft is also taking some things out of the library at the end of the month with the biggest losses being F1 22 — though the current iteration of the series coming in makes up for that — and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, a Doom-inspired retro shooter.
