CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The U.S. National Team is set to play Czechia here today (Dec. 9) at Bell Aliant Centre in its second preliminary round game of the 2024 Para Hockey Cup

Puck drop is set for 11 a.m. local time/10 a.m. ET, and the game will stream live here.

Team USA skated to a 10-1 win yesterday (Dec. 8) in the opening contest of the tournament against China to move to 1-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) in the preliminary round. Seven different players recorded a tally, including two-goal performances from David Eustace (Stoneham, Mass.), Declan Farmer (, Fla.), and Evan Nichols (Haymarket, Va.). Jen Lee (San Francisco, Calif.) earned the win in goal in his season debut, and Jack Wallace (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) added four helpers and was named U.S. Player of the Game.

The U.S. enters this contest with an unbeaten 5-1-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record. Team USA took home the IPH Cup in October after going undefeated at the annual season-opening tournament in Ostrava, Czechia.

Czechia dropped it's first preliminary round game 9-2 to yesterday (Dec. 8) and carries an 0-0-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record into the contest.

Team USA is 15-0-1-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) against Czechia all-time. These two sides last faced off in the preliminary round of the 2024 IPH Cup, with the U.S. skating to an 8-0 victory.

The U.S. has won eight-consecutive Para Hockey Cups, and a record 10 tournament titles all-time.
