TGL doubleheader highlights: Bay Area facing Los Angeles
TGL action returned on Monday with a doubleheader beginning with Los Angeles Golf Club facing the Bay Golf Club.
Tommy Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa and Sahith Theegala started for LA, while Tony Finau and Justin Rose sat out. Bay Golf Club had Min Woo Lee, Shane Lowry and Wyndham Clark start with Ludvig Åberg not participating.
A win for BGC — who started out strong with a lead after three holes — will give them the top playoff seed.
Here’s a look at the best moments from Monday’s doubleheader.

Lee’s putting is on full display
With the lead on the line, Lee faced a 13-foot, 3-inch birdie putt and made it look easy. His ball swirled in to give BGC a 1-0 lead through three holes. Bonus points to Lowry for a fun celebration with the hole’s flag.

Clark nearly connects on hole-in-one
BGC’s strong start continued on Hole 6 with an impressive drive from Clark. The 2023 U.S. Open champion came inches away from a hole-in-one. His ball’s second bounce almost dropped in the hole, landing 10-feet away after rolling. BGC followed up with a hammer throw and LA declined, giving a 3-0 lead to BGC.
