Thomas suffered the strain in Thursday’s loss to the . With a little less than one month left in the Nets’ season and the time needed to recover from the strain, the team is deciding to shut Thomas down.

Thomas has struggled with hamstring issues throughout the year and will end the season having only appeared in 25 games.

The former No. 27 draft pick in 2021, Thomas heads into restricted free agency this summer after averaging 24 points in 31.2 minutes per game for Brooklyn.
