Austrian GP: Lando Norris leads Oscar Piastri, Max Verstappen in FP2
Lando Norris made up for lost time after missing first practice by setting the pace Friday’s second session at the Austrian Grand Prix.
Norris, in his first time on track since tangling with teammate Oscar Piastri in Canada two weeks ago, posted a 1:04.580 to top FP2, a tenth and a half faster than the other McLaren.
The Briton had sat on the sidelines in the earlier session, with youngster Alex Dunne impressing in his absence.
Max Verstappen was behind Piastri in third, with Lance Stroll a surprise fourth for Aston Martin.
Charles Leclerc was fifth ahead of George Russell, who was fastest in FP1.
