USA Hockey Announces Additional Staff For 4 Nations Face-Off 1 | ASL

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Hockey announced today the final staff that will support the U.S. Men’s National Team which will compete in the 4 Nations Face-Off Feb. 12-20 in Montreal and Boston.

The four-team international tournament, being staged by the NHL and NHLPA, will feature teams of NHL players representing the U.S., Canada, Finland and Sweden.

Having previously announced Mike Sullivan (Marshfield, Mass./Pittsburgh Penguins) as head coach and John Hynes (Warwick, R.I./Minnesota Wild), John Tortorella (Boston, Mass./Philadelphia Flyers), and David Quinn (Cranston, R.I./Pittsburgh Penguins) as assistant coaches, USA Hockey revealed today Mike Buckley (Boston, Mass./LA Kings) as goaltending coach and Madison Nikkel (Wexford, Penn./Pittsburgh Penguins) and Mike King (Conway, N.H./Ottawa Senators) as video coaches.

Additional support staff named includes team services manager Brij Singh (Los Altos, Calif./Boston Bruins); equipment managers Chris “Frosty” Scoppetto (Hamden, Conn./New Jersey Devils), Ted Richards (Wilkes-Barre, Penn./ Panthers) and Scott Aldrich (Hancock, Mich./USA Hockey); athletic trainers John Worley (Ridley Park, Penn./Minnesota Wild), Travis Green (St. Paul, Minn./Minnesota Wild) and Kevin Morley (Newington, Conn./Nashville Predators); team physician Dr. Joel Boyd (St. Paul, Minn./Minnesota Wild); content manager Taylor Swierc (Colorado Springs, Colo./USA Hockey); and media officers Dave Fischer (Colorado Springs, Colo./USA Hockey) and Todd Beam (St. Clair Shores, Mich./Detroit Red Wings).

“We’ve got an exceptional staff,” said Bill Guerin (Wilbraham, Mass./Minnesota Wild), general manager of the U.S. Men’s National Team and also president of hockey operations and general manager of the Minnesota Wild. “We’re all focused on the same thing, and that is competing fora championship in February.”
