U.S. Women’s Development Sled Hockey Team 4 | Canada 3

THOROLD, Ont. – Kelsey DiClaudio (Plum, Pa.) scored twice to lead the U.S. Women’s Development Team to a 4-3 victory over here today in game three of the 2025 Women’s Sled Series at Canada Games Park.

“That was a great, highly competitive game,” said Rose Misiewicz (Duluth, Minn.), head coach of the U.S. Women’s Development Sled Team. “It was fun to see, and the best game we’ve had all week.”

At the 11:51 mark of the opening frame, DiClaudio lifted the puck onto her right stick blade as she wrapped around the Canada net and launched it into the top corner for her second Michigan-style goal of the series to put the U.S. up 1-0.

Canada drew level at 9:04 of the second period when Alyssa White scored on a wrist shot from the slot on the power play.

Just 16 seconds later, DiClaudio added a shorthanded tally for her second of the contest, capitalizing on a breakaway chance to give a 2-1 lead.

With 2:19 to play in the middle stanza, DiClaudio found Kaden Herchenroether (Allsion Park, Pa.) with a back-door feed on a two-on-one opportunity, and Herchenroether shoved the puck across the goal line to extend the U.S. advantage.

White made it a 3-2 game in the closing seconds of the period, finishing off a rebound chance after U.S. goaltender Hope Bevilhymer (West Jordan, Utah) made a diving breakaway stop.

At the 9:01 mark of the final frame, Herchenroether found Madison Eberhard (Buffalo, N.Y.) in the slot, who batted home a one-timer to add to Team USA’s lead.

Raphael Tousignant brought Canada back within one goal with 4:45 to play in the contest, but the U.S. went on to a 4-3 win.

Bevilhymer stopped 12 shots to earn the win in goal for Team USA.

The U.S. concludes the 2025 Women’s Sled Series with a 3-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record to move to 7-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) on the season.
