Mercedes has officially launched its 2025 car while completing a filming day in Bahrain ahead of F1 testing at the same venue.
All 10 teams unveiled their liveries during F1’s launch event in London on Tuesday, but the new paint schemes were applied to show cars rather than the actual race cars that will compete on track this year.
After Aston Martin unveiled theirs on Sunday, Mercedes followed suit on Monday with the car named the W16.
Mercedes is going into a season without Lewis Hamilton for the first time since 2012.
Italian rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli, 18, has replaced the seven-time world champion and will race alongside George Russell, who is set for his fourth season at Mercedes.
Russell and Antonelli will be looking to build on Mercedes’ 2024 campaign, which saw the team score four wins across the season.
Despite those wins, Mercedes finished fourth in the constructors’ championship.
F1’s track action begins in Bahrain this week, with three days of testing from Feb. 26-28.
