HALIFAX, Nova Scotia – The 2024-25 Rivalry Series, Presented By Discover resumes on Thursday (Feb. 6) with game four as the U.S. Women’s National Team will face rival Canada at the Scotiabank Centre.
Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. AT (6 p.m. ET) and can be viewed live on NHL Network.
TONIGHT’S MATCHUP
Today's game marks the fourth game of the 2024-25 Rivalry Series, presented by Discover and is the first of the final two games, hosted in Canada. The two teams last met on Nov. 10, 2024 in Boise, Idaho.

IN THE 2024-25 RIVALRY SERIES
Heading into game four, Canada leads the series by a 2-1 tally. The U.S. opened with a commanding 7-2 victory, before a come-from-behind campaign fell short in game two, 5-4 (SO), and a 4-1 loss in game three.
LAST TIME IN NOVA SCOTIA
The U.S. Women’s National Team last played in the province of Nova Scotia in 21 years ago at the 2004 IIHF Women’s World Championship. The tournament was hosted in the same arena the two teams will play in on Thursday, with the U.S. coming away with a silver medal in the tournament.
PWHL PLAYER PRIDE
All 21 players named to Team USA currently play in the Professional Women’s Hockey League. All six league teams have representation on the roster, with five players coming from both the Minnesota Frost and Boston Fleet, four players from the Montreal Victoire, three players from the Ottawa Charge and Toronto Sceptres and one from the New York Sirens.
MAKING THEIR DEBUT
Forwards Izzy Daniel (Minneapolis, Minn,) and Mannon McMahon (Maple Grove, Minn.), along with defender Sydney Bard (New Hartford, N.Y.), will be making their U.S. Women’s National Team debut in Thursday’s game.

The 2024-25 U.S. Women's National Team features 21 players, 12 forwards, six defenders and three goaltenders. Of the 21 players, 14 are returners from the November Rivalry Series roster, while remaining seven are making their 2024-25 Rivalry Series debut.
