Opening faceoff is set for 4:20 p.m. local/10:20 a.m. ET at Jyske Bank Boxen. All U.S. games in the world championship can be seen live on NHL Network.

Both the U.S. and Kazakhstan played yesterday. Team USA, behind a goal and three assists from Conor Garland, and a goal and two assists from Clayton Keller, earned a 6-3 win over Germany. It was an odd game with the U.S. scoring the only three goals of the first and third periods, while Germany tallied the only three of the middle frame.
Kazakhstan which got its lone win of the tournament against Norway on May 10, fell to Group B leader, Czechia, yesterday by a score of 8-1.
The U.S. needs just one point today to secure a spot in the tournament quarterfinals, which will be played Thursday.
Entering play today, the U.S. has three players tied for the top spot on its point chart, including Logan Cooley (3-4—7), Clayton Keller (2-5—7) and Tage Thompson (2-5—7).
Team USA finishes preliminary round play on Tuesday (May 20) at 10:20 a.m. ET (4:20 p.m. local) against Czechia.
