VANTAA, Finland – The U.S. Under-18 Women’s National Team will meet a familiar opponent, Canada, on Sunday (Jan. 12) in the gold medal game of the 2025 IIHF Under-18 Women’s World Championship.

Today is the gold medal game of the 2025 IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championship between the United States and Canada. The U.S. defeated Slovakia in the quarterfinals, 9-1, and Sweden in the semifinals, 2-1, to reach its 16th all-time gold medal game appearance.
