Spurs’ Stephon Castle finds vehicle without tires in rookie prank

San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle was next on the list to receive his rookie treatment on Wednesday night.

After the Spurs’ 126-116 win over their cross-state rival Dallas Mavericks, Castle, who scored eight points and grabbed two rebounds, discovered something abnormal about his vehicle in the team parking facility.

Castle was escorted to the garage by teammates to find his white Toyota Supra sitting on its brake pads with no wheels. Castle reacted by jokingly squaring up with his teammates in a boxing stance before processing the prank.

“You ain’t got no wheels!” Castle’s teammates joked.

On Tuesday, Cleveland Cavaliers rookie forward Jaylon Tyson received the rookie treatment of having his four-door coupe filled with popcorn after failing to deliver doughnuts for the team.

San Antonio’s win over Dallas snaps their seven-game losing streak against the Mavericks, according to ESPN Research.

Castle is averaging 13.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Spurs.
